Well, it’s that time of year again. Delta Christian Drama Association will be hosting their annual kid’s Day Camp June 11-15 from 9:30am until 1:30pm, Monday through Friday. Then we will be wrapping up with an Awards Ceremony on Friday, June 15 at 6:30pm where parents and family will be able to witness participants being honored for their hard work throughout the week.
The theme of this year’s camp is “You Can be a Temptation Buster”. Your children will become recruits at a boot camp for aspiring Temptation Buster Cadets. By the end of the week they will have been whipped into shape as an elite strike team representing the King’s finest. They will have learned how to distinguish between attacks originating from the World, the Flesh, or the Devil and be trained in appropriate spiritual weaponry and protocols for efficient neutralization of any such threats at home or abroad.
Whether tackling our specially constructed obstacle course, playing games, singing songs, memorizing scripture, listening to dramatized stories or eating lunch, all the activities will be geared to keep your children so happily engaged that they may not even realize that they have been absorbing valuable truths and life skills. As always, this experience is offered as a completely free community service requiring no charges or fees of any kind. However, we can only handle a limited number of enrollees, so enlist your camper early to prevent disappointment.
