The Alaska Law Enforcement Torch Run and Pledge Drive to benefit Special Olympics will be held in Delta Junction on May 21st at 10 am. The 5K run will start at the Delta Junction Visitors Center and continue east on the Alaska Highway to Emmaus Road and back to the Visitors Center. Registration will be handled before the run at the Visitor Center. Single registration is $15.00. Single registration with a T-shirt is $25.00. Please stop at the State Trooper office in Delta Junction for registration and pledge forms. These forms will also be available before the run.
This is a great way for families and neighbors to get out and stretch their legs, get some fresh air and support training and competition programs for more than one thousand Alaskan athletes with intellectual disabilities.
