Delta-Greely Softball Association invites Girls ages 8 – 18 to the annual Fast-Pitch Softball Spring Training

Girls 8-12 Where: DHS large gym When: Tuesdays 6:15 – 7:30 and  Saturdays 10 – noon (starting April  7) Coaches: Dave & Piper Williams and Lisa Harris

Girls 13-18 Where: DHS large gym When: Wednesdays and Sundays 6:30-7:30 (starting April 4) Coaches: Jon & Jen Brant and Whitney McLaren

Thinking about joining softball, but not sure what it’s all about? Attend spring training. You don’t have to be a pro… we’ll help you to become one!

Spring training will continue until the snow melts and the fields become available. Thereafter regular season training will start. Registration for summer league will be Saturday, April 21st   at IGA . Registration forms can also be picked up at Granite View Sports and Delta Elementary School. Completed registration forms can be dropped off at Delta Elementary School for Mrs. Brant.  If you are playing summer league, it is recommended that you participate in spring training, but it’s not required. NO FEE! Just bring a glove, gym shoes and a positive attitude! *Register for summer league at your first spring training practice.

Evening snacks and breakfast will be provided. Please feed your daughter dinner before the sleepover begins.

Pick Up Time/Date 10:30 am Saturday, April 14

The purpose of the softball sleepover is to encourage girls to participate in softball and to develop team building skills.

All participants must complete a registration form and pay a $20 fee by Thursday, April 12. Forms can be completed and turned in at DES Office or FGS Office.

All Delta girls ages 8 – 14 interested in playing fastpitch softball are invited to attend!

Is your child ready for baseball season?  Come on out and sign them up to play on a team this year!  Delta-Greely Baseball registrations are happening every Saturday in April at the IGA in Delta and the PX on Ft. Greely from 10 AM to 2 PM.  If your weekend is too busy, you can find forms at Imagine and Learn Preschool during the week.  (Call for directions at 895-4166).

Ready to swing a bat and practice catching?  There will be practice times for ages 5-12 at the Gym at Ft. Greely on Sundays from 4-5:30PM beginning April 15th.  Contact Sonny Zarecki if you need access for this practice time (907-505-0628).
