The Delta Junction Relay for Life Kick Off was held on Saturday, Feb 4.
There were games, fundraising, and tons of fun.
But perhaps the most fun event was the Chili Cook-Off—which included traditional mild and spicy as well as turkey and even bourbon chili.
The event had 7 entrants. First prize was given to Tracy Blais for an amazing chili! Second place was Sarah Bevard, and Third place was Michael Sisneros. The winners all received a gift bags from the Relay Committee and First prize also received a trophy.
The event was such a big success that Relay may host another cook-off so keep your recipes on hand!
